ARTS DFW – Inaugural Event

Arts DFW Inaugural Event

September 9 from 6:30pm – 8:30pm
Central Arts of Hurst
362 East Pipeline Road in Hurst, Texas

I have always believed in the transformative power of the Arts. The Arts have been shown to revitalize and bring communities together, boost academic performance in students, provide health benefits to local residents, reduce crime, as well as impact our local economy and workforce while simultaneously preparing us for the future. So I am beyond thrilled to announce that I now sit on the Board of Directors for Arts DFW, a new 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose focus is on fundraising for the Visual and Performing Arts so our communities can thrive.

Our inaugural event will be held on Monday, September 9th from 6:30pm-8:30pm at Central Arts of Hurst  in Hurst, Texas. This free event is a great chance to stop by, learn about us and our mission, while simultaneously enjoying some entertainment and refreshments. So swing on by and see what we have to offer, and click here to RSVP so we know you’re coming!

See you at GrapeFest

Mark your calendars, and save the date: September 12-16, 2019, as I’ll be returning to vend my photographic works at GrapeFest: the largest wine festival in the Southwest!

I’ll be exhibiting with other members of the Grapevine Art Project, so you’ll find over 20 local artists across an array of art mediums–painting, jewelry, ceramics, photography and more–inside the historic Foust Funeral Home & Event Space located at 523 S. Main Street in Grapevine, Texas. No matter what the weather is outside, we’re in an air conditioned and sheltered space so you’re always guaranteed a great time as you view all the artistic works from our talented members. With an array of art mediums represented, there’s something for everyone inside.
