Thanks to everyone who came out to support me during my photography exhibition Life in Frame, at Elm Street Studio in Keller, Texas. The show closed on March 1st, and it’s always a little bittersweet taking your art down off the wall at the end of an exhibition. But there’s always more opportunities around the corner!
If you missed your chance to swing by during the exhibit, here’s a few snapshots of the show.
Keller’s Elm Street Studio hosts the art show Life in Frame from January 9th through March 1st, featuring the works of local, award-winning photographer KC Hulsman. The exhibition is a celebration of life as well as the beauty of age and decay. The public is invited to the free artist reception on Friday, February 1at 6pm located inside the gallery located at 139 South Elm Street in Keller, Texas. Both Elm Street Studio and the artist KC Hulsman are committed to giving back to their local community, so a portion of all exhibition sales will be donated to the Humane Society of North Texas.
As a Hurst resident, finding opportunities to present my art locally to my neighbors is a rare occurrence. So I’m pleased to announce that my award-winning photography will be featured in my first ever solo exhibition “Life in Frame” inside the Hurst Public Library’s gallery. The free art exhibition will be on view during the library’s regular business hours from November 2nd through November 29th. [Please check with the library directly for any changes in their hours around the Thanksgiving holiday].
I’ve created a public Facebook Event so you can share across social media, as well as mark your FB calendar as interested or going with all the relevant details:
I’m pleased to announce that some of my photographic work (selections from my long exposure carnival ride series) will be on display in the “100 For 100” Exhibition at Fort Works Art Gallery located at 2100 Montgomery Street in Fort Worth, Texas. The show will run from October 27 through November 10.
Tickets to the Opening Day reception party (Oct. 27 from noon to 9pm) will be $10, with all proceeds going toward the non-profit organization Gallery Of Dreams to support future exhibition opportunities and events for local artists. The remaining days of the exhibition are free and open to the public to view during normal gallery hours.
I’m elated to announce that my photographic work, “This Side of the Pond” was bestowed a Second Place award by a three-member judging panel for the 2018 IAA Animal Art Competition & Exhibition in the challenge category: Frogs & Toads, across all art mediums in the contest (digital art, drawing, mixed media, painting and photography).
The Art exhibition remains on view until September 28th. You can view all the entries, including my award-winning piece in person during normal hours at the Jaycee Parks Center for the Arts located at 1975 Puritan Drive in Irving, Texas.
Or if you are heading out to #GrapeFest this weekend, I do have blank greeting cards featuring our Green little friend that I’ll be selling at my booth inside the Foust Funeral Home and Event Space, where over 20 local #GAPartists will be vending during the festival.
